Abraham J. Carver (1803-1874) was born 16 Mar. 1803 in Vinalhaven, Hancock Co., Maine. He was the son of Israel Carver and Susanna Jewell. He married Rachael Calderwood on 3 Feb. 1831 in Vinalhaven. He hosted Wilford Woodruff overnight on 20 Sep. 1837 on the North Fox Island, Hancock Co., Maine. He died 21 Sep. 1874 and was buried in North Haven, Knox Co., Maine.
