Adam Speirs
Adam Speirs (1834-1908) was born 7 Jul. 1834 in Beavertown, Beaver Co., Pennsylvania. He was the son of Thomas Speirs and Mary Cochrane. He married Charlotte Clark about 1853. He was baptized in 1843. He was named as a counselor in the Teacher's Quorum Presidency at the Apr. 1856 General Conference, and signed missionary letters as bishop of the Salt Lake City Tenth Ward between 1889 and 1897 when Wilford Woodruff was president of the Church. He died 2 Jun. 1908 in Salt Lake City.
