Albina M. Merrill Williams

Albina (Elvina) M. Merrill Williams (1826-1914) was born 25 Jul. 1826 in Elba, Genesee Co., New York. She was the daughter of Samuel Williams and Phoebe Odell. She married Thomas Williams on 25 Aug. 1842 in Hancock Co., Illinois, and they had ten children. She had an altercation with John W. Dawson, governor of Utah Territory, in 1861; the event was mentioned by Wilford Woodruff in his journal. She died 28 Nov. 1914 in Pocatello, Bannock Co., Idaho.
