Alma Cossett Goodman

Alma (Almira, Anna) Cossett (Cossit) Goodman (Goodwin) (1780-1869) was born 10 Dec. 1780 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Connecticut. She was the daughter of Asa Cossett and Mary Cole and a distant relative of Azuba Hart, Wilford Woodruff’s step-mother. She married Aaron Goodman on 15 Apr. 1804 in Granby, Hartford Co., Connecticut, and they had five children. She died 13 Nov. 1896 in Plainfield, Union Co., New Jersey. Her proxy temple ordinance work was initiated by Wilford Woodruff on 1 Jun. 1870.
