Alonzo Hazeltine Raleigh

Alonzo Hazeltine Raleigh (1818-1901) was born 7 Nov. 1818 in Francestown, Hillborough Co., New Hampshire. He was the son of James L. Raleigh and Susan McCoy. He married Mary Ann Taber on 17 Aug. 1842 in Alfred, York Co., Maine; widowed abt. 27 Oct. 1843. He married Carolyn Lucy Curtis on 22 Feb. 1844 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized in Jul. 1842. He traveled with Wilford Woodruff to church meetings which they both spoke at in Utah Territory. He died 13 May 1901 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
