Amerigo Vespucci

Amerigo Vespucci (1451-1512) was born 9 Mar. 1451 in Florence, Tuscany, Italian Peninsula. He was the son of Nastagio Vespucci and Lisabetta Mini. He married Maria Cerezo about 1505. He died 11 Feb. 1512 in Seville, Spain. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
