Andrew Johnson

Andrew Johnson (1808-1875) was born 29 Dec. 1808 in Raleigh, Wake Co., North Carolina. He was the son of Jacob Johnson and Mary McDonough He married Eliza McCardle on 17 May 1827 in Tennessee. He died 31 Jul. 1875 in Carter Co., Tennessee. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
