Arthur Middleton

Arthur Middleton (1742-1787) was born 26 Jun. 1742 in St. Andrew's Parish, Berkeley Co., South Carolina, British Colonial America. He was the son of Henry Middleton and Mary Baker Williams. He married Mary Izard in 1764 in South Carolina, British Colonial America. He died 1 Jan. 1787 in Charleston, Charleston Co., South Carolina. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
