Augustine Washington (1694-1743) was born 12 Nov. 1694 at Bridges Creek, Westmoreland Co., Virginia, British Colonial America. He was the son of Lawrence Washington and Mildred Warner. He married Jane Butler on 20 Apr. 1715 in Westmoreland Co., Virginia, British Colonial America; widowed 24 Nov. 1728. He married Mary Ball on 6 Mar. 1730 in Lancaster Co., Virginia, British Colonial America. He died 12 Apr. 1743 in Ferry Farm, King George Co., Virginia, British Colonial America. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
