Bertha Ella Woodruff Brough Thompson (1888-1974) was born 30 Jun. 1888 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. She was the daughter of Marion Woodruff and Hansine Dorthea Bertha Jensen (Steffensen) and a granddaughter of Wilford Woodruff. She married Charles William Brough on 16 May 1906 in Salt Lake City, and they had six children; widowed 5 Jan. 1919. She married Karl Albert Thompson on 23 Feb. 1922 in Logan, Cache Co., Utah, and they had five children. She was baptized 17 May 1900. She died 22 Nov. 1974 in Taylorsville, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
