Betsey Cossett Alvord

Betsy Cossett (Corset) Alvord (1806-1884) was born 19 Jan. 1806 in Granby, Hartford Co., Connecticut. She was the daughter of Samuel Cole Cossitt and Anna Hart and a second cousin of Wilford Woodruff. She married Thaddeus Alvord on 15 May 1853 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. She was baptized 14 Jul. 1838. She died 5 Feb. 1884 in North Ogden, Weber Co., Utah Territory.
