Betsey Cossett Alvord
Betsey Cossett (Corset) Alvord (1805-1884) was born 19 Jan. 1805. She was the daughter of Samuel Cole Cossett and Anna Hart and a second cousin through Azuba Hart, Wilford Woodruff's step-mother. She married Thaddeus Alvord on 15 May 1853. She was baptized by Wilford Woodruff on 3 Oct. 1839 in Farmington, Hartford Co., Connecticut. She died 16 Feb. 1884 and was buried in North Ogden, Weber Co., Utah Territory.
