Caleb Walton West
Caleb Walton West (1844-1909) was born 25 May 1844 in Cynthiana, Harrison Co., Kentucky. He was the son of A. J. West and Katharine Murphy. He married Nancy Frazer about 1869. He served as Territorial Governor of Utah and met with Wilford Woodruff many times while serving in the 1880s and 1890s. He died 25 Jan. 1909 in Oakland, Alameda Co., California.
