Calvin H. Nicholson (abt. 1805-1877) was born about 1805 in North Carolina. He was the son of Osburne P. Nicholson and Sackey Hunter. He married Latitia Shephard on 11 Sep. 1836 in Maury Co., Tennessee; widowed 7 May 1846. He married Caroline about 1847; widowed. He married Jennett H. Taylar on 11 Aug. 1859 in Lawrence Co., Tennessee. He attended the Chalk Level Branch in Humphreys Co., Tennessee when Wilford Woodruff was a missionary there in 1835. He died 17 Nov. 1877 in Lawrenceburg, Lawrence Co., Tennessee.
