Caroline Smith Charman Cottam

Caroline Smith Charman Cottam (1820-1890) was born 11 Oct. 1820 in Mottingham, Kent, England. She was the daughter of Samuel Pascal Smith and Mary West. She married George Charman on 24 Sep. 1844 in Hampshire, England, and they had one child; widowed 27 Aug. 1847. She married Thomas Cottam on 29 Oct. 1847 in St. Louis, St. Louis Co., Missouri, and they had nine children. She was baptized 24 Sep. 1843. She received blessings for the sick from Wilford Woodruff in 1885 and 1887. She died 19 Feb. 1890 in St. George, Washington Co., Utah Territory.
