Christian Watson Houtz
Christian (Christopher) Watson Houtz (1867-1939) was born 1 Apr. 1867 in Springville, Utah Co., Utah Territory. He was the son of Phillip Houtz and Sarah Jane Hall. He married Mary Esther Waters on 2 Mar. 1887 in Logan, Cache Co., Utah Territory; widowed 3 Jun. 1935. He married Eveline Josephine Annie Thomson on 1 Jan. 1938 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah. He was baptized 16 Dec. 1876. He responded to a mission call in 1893 when Wilford Woodruff was President of the Church, and co-signed a letter written to the First Presidency on 12 Feb. 1898 by Olive Lowry Anderson. He died 7 Jun. 1939 in Mapleton, Utah Co., Utah.
