Coburn Tyler (1792-1873) was born 10 Feb. 1792 in Methuen, Essex Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Simeon Tyler and Hannah Wright Merrill. He married Clarissa H. Smith about 5 Oct. 1822 in Camden; widowed. He married Deborah P. Chapman about 24 Aug. 1834 in Camden. He hosted Wilford Woodruff overnight twice in Dec. 1837 in Camden, Waldo Co., Maine, and he subscribed to the Elders Journal. He died 7 Dec. 1873 in Camden, Knox Co., Maine.
