David Candland

David Candland (1819-1902) was born 15 Oct. 1819 in Highgate, Middlesex, England. He was the son of Samuel Candland and Sarah Betts. He married Mary Ann Barton on 27 Mar. 1844 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized in May 1841. He served in church positions with Wilford Woodruff from about 1855 to 1872. He died 11 Mar. 1902 in Mt. Pleasant, Sanpete Co., Utah.
