David Livingstone
19 Mar 1813 - 1 May 1873
David Livingstone (1813-1873) was born 19 Mar. 1813 in Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Scotland. He was the son of Niel Livingstone and Agnes Hunter. He married Mary Moffat on 9 Jan. 1845 in Kuruman, Cape Colony, British South Africa. He died 1 May 1873 in Chipundu (now in Chitambo District, Zambia). He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
