David Rice Atchison
David Rice Atchison (1807-1886) was born 11 Aug. 1807 in Frogtown near Lexington, Fayette Co., Kentucky. He was the son of William Atchison and Catherine Allen. He warned Wilford Woodruff and the rest of Zion's Camp against returning to Liberty, Clay Co., Missouri in 1834. He died 26 Jan. 1886 in Gower, Clinton Co., Missouri.
