David Woolley Evans

David Woolley Evans (1833-1876) was born 6 Jan. 1833 in Louth, Lincolnshire, England. He was the son of John Evans and Mary Woolley. He married Elizabeth Alldridge on 15 Jun. 1862 in Utah Territory. He was baptized 8 Aug. 1854 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. He was a reporter for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and recorded Wilford Woodruff's discourses in shorthand between 1867 and 1876. He died 5 Jul. 1876 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
