Edmund Clark Briggs
1835-1913
Edmund Clark Briggs (1835-1913) was born 20 Feb. 1835 in Wheeler, Steuben Co., New York. He was the son of Hugh Briggs and Polly Damon. He married Emma Whitcomb in 1861. He had an interview with Brigham Young in Aug. 1863, and Wilford Woodruff mentioned the event in his journal. He died 4 Jul. 1913 in Independence, Jackson Co., Missouri.
