Edmund Wattis

Edmund Wattis (Waters, Watts) (1799-1844) was christened 4 Jan. 1799 in Powick, Worcestershire, England. He was the son of James Wattis and Mary. He married Sarah Twinberrow on 30 Apr. 1821 in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England; widowed before 14 Jul. 1823. He married Hannah Compton on 12 Jul. 1824 in London, Middlesex, England. He was baptized by Wilford Woodruff on 26 Apr. 1840 in Leigh, Worcestershire, England. He hosted Wilford Woodruff in his home on 5 May 1840. He died 8 Sep. 1844 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois.
