Edward Lennox Sloan

Edward Lennox Sloan (1830-1874) was born 9 Nov. 1830 in Conlig, Co. Down, Ireland. He was the son of John Sloan and Mary. He married Mary Wallace before 1856; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized about 1848. He spoke in meetings that Wilford Woodruff attended between 1865 and 1870 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. He died 2 Aug. 1874 in Salt Lake City, and Wilford Woodruff mentioned his death in his journal.
