Edward Schoenfeld
Edward Schoenfeld (1832-1914) was born 8 Mar. 1832 in Magdeborn, Leipzig, Kingdom of Saxony, German Confederation. He was the son of Friedrich Wilhelm Schoenfeld and Johanna Sophia Krebs. He married Caroline Charlotte Ottilie Mieth on 29 May 1855; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 14 Oct. 1855 in the River Elbe in Dresden, Kingdom of Saxony, German Confederation. He was present with Wilford Woodruff during the first reading of Book of the Deseret Alphabet on 2 Dec. 1858 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory, and he spoke at two conferences of German saints in 1892 and 1895 in Salt Lake City. He died 29 Sep. 1914 in Salt Lake City.
