Emily Cornelia Atwood Branch (1819-1869) was born 1 Mar. 1819 in Willington, Tolland Co., Connecticut. She was the daughter of Dan Atwood and Polly Sawyer. She married William Henry Branch on 19 Nov. 1844 in Windham Co., Connecticut, and they had seven children. She was baptized 16 Jan.1850 in Willimantic, Windham Co., Connecticut. She traveled from Iowa to Utah Territory in the Wilford Woodruff Company in 1850, and the death of her son in 1850 was recorded by Wilford Woodruff. She died 24 Aug. 1869 in St. George, Washington Co., Utah Territory
