Emily Dow Partridge Smith Young
Emily Dow Partridge Smith Young (1824-1899) was born 28 Feb. 1824 in Painesville, Geauga Co., Ohio. She was the daughter of Edward Partridge and Lydia Clisbee. She was sealed to Joseph Smith on 4 Mar. 1843 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois; widowed 27 Jun. 1844. She was sealed to Brigham Young about 1844 in Nauvoo, and they had seven children. She was baptized 4 Dec. 1832. She traveled to Sacramento, Sacramento Co., California with Wilford Woodruff and others on 24 Apr. 1899. She died 9 Dec. 1899 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
