Emily Sophia Tanner Richards

Emily Sophia Tanner Richards (1850-1929) was born 13 May 1850 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. She was the daughter of Nathan Tanner and Rachel Winter Smith. She married Franklin Snyder Richards on 18 Dec. 1868 in Salt Lake City, and they had five children. She was baptized 4 Sep. 1862. She met with Wilford Woodruff in 1888 and 1891, and she spoke at a meeting that he attended in 1893. She died 22 Aug. 1929 in Salt Lake City.
