Ernest Irving Young (1851-1879) was born 29 Apr. 1851 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. He was the son of Brigham Young and Lucy A. Decker. He married Sybella W. Johnson about 1872. He was baptized about 1859. He died 8 Oct. 1879 in Salt Lake City, and his death was mentioned by Wilford Woodruff in his journal.
