Esther Romania Bunnell Pratt Penrose
Esther Romania Bunnell Pratt Penrose (1839-1932) was born 8 Aug. 1839 in Washington, Wayne Co., Indiana. She was the daughter of Luther B. Bunnell and Esther Mendenhall. She married Parley Parker Pratt on 23 Feb. 1859 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory, and they had seven children; widowed 25 Aug. 1897. She was sealed to Charles William Penrose on 11 Mar. 1886 in Salt Lake City. She was baptized in 1855. She met with Wilford Woodruff and others on 5 Oct. 1877 in Salt Lake City to discuss establishing a medical college for women. She died 9 Nov. 1932 in Salt Lake City.
