Frances Herbert Woolward Nisbet Nelson

Frances (Fanny) Herbert Woolward Nisbet Nelson (1761-1831) was christened in May 1761 in Nevis, Saint Kitts and Nevis. She was the daughter of William Woolward and Mary Herbert. She married Josiah Nisbet on 28 Jun. 1779, and they had one child; widowed 5 Oct. 1781. She married Horatio Nelson on 11 Mar. 1787 in Saint John Figtree, Nevis, Saint Kitts and Nevis. She died 4 May 1831 in London, Middlesex, England. She was one of the eminent women for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
