Francis Denton Benedict

Francis Denton Benedict (1848-1882) was born 27 Dec. 1848 in South Canaan, Litchfield Co., Connecticut. He was the son of Francis K. Benedict and Emeline Mott. He married Chloe Young on 23 Apr. 1873 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. He was baptized in Feb. 1870. He attended to patients in 1874 and 1880 in the presence of Wilford Woodruff. He died 11 May 1882 in Salt Lake City, and Wilford Woodruff mentioned his funeral in his journal.
