Francis Gladden Bishop

Francis Gladden Bishop (1809-1864) was born 19 Jun. 1809 in Livonia, Ontario Co., New York. He was the son of Isaac Gates Bishop and Mary Hyde. He was baptized 2 Jul. 1832. He was appointed Indian agent for Utah Territory while Wilford Woodruff was serving on the Utah Territorial Legislature. He died 30 Nov. 1864 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
