Francis Hopkinson

Francis Hopkinson (1737-1791) was born 21 Sep. 1737 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania, British Colonial America. He was the son of Thomas Hopkinson and Mary Johnson. He married Ann Borden on 1 Sep. 1768 in Philadelphia. He died 9 May 1791 in Philadelphia. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
