Francis Lightfoot Lee

Francis Lightfoot Lee (1734-1797) was born 14 Oct. 1734 in Westmoreland Co., Virginia, British Colonial America. He was the son of Thomas Lee and Hannah Harrison Ludwell. He married Elizabeth Plater Tayloe on 9 Mar. 1769 in Virginia, British Colonial America. He died 17 Jan. 1797 in Warsaw, Richmond Co., Virginia. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
