Francis Marion Lyman

Francis Marion Lyman (1840-1916) was born 12 Jan. 1840 in Macomb, McDonough Co., Illinois. He was the son of Amasa Mason Lyman and Louisa M. Tanner. He married Rhoda Ann Taylor on 18 Nov. 1857 in San Bernardino Co., California; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 1 Jul. 1848. He was ordained an Apostle in Wilford Woodruff's presence on 27 Oct. 1880, and they were frequently together in their church leadership roles throughout the 1880s. He died 18 Nov. 1916 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
