George Craighead Cabell

George Craighead Cabell (1836-1906) was born 25 Jan. 1836 in Danville, Pittsylvania Co., Virginia. He was the son of Benjamin W. S. Cabell and Sarah Epps. He married Mary H. Baird on 25 Oct. 1859 in Brunswick Co., Virginia; widowed 30 Oct. 1891. He married Ellen Virga Ashton on 2 Nov. 1892 in Portsmouth, Virginia. He voted against the Edmunds Act of 1882, as noted by Wilford Woodruff. He died 23 Jun. 1906 in Baltimore, Maryland.
