George Germain Cossett
George Germain Cossett (Cossitt) (1799-1864) was born 14 Feb. 1799 in Granby, Hartford Co., Connecticut. He was the son of Asa Cossett and Mary Cole and a distant relative of Azuba Hart, Wilford Woodruff’s step-mother. He married Lucy Frances Mann on 12 May 1835. He died 14 Oct. 1864 in La Grange, Fayette Co., Tennessee. His proxy temple ordinance work was initiated by Wilford Woodruff on 1 Jun. 1870.
