George Gordon Byron

George Gordon Byron (1788-1824) was born 22 Jan. 1788 in Marylebone, Middlesex, England. He was the son of John Byron and Catherine Gordon. He married Anne Isabella Milanke on 2 Jan. 1815 in Seaham, Co. Durham, England. He died 19 Apr. 1824 in Greece. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
