George Hamilton Taylor

1829-1907

George Hamilton Taylor (1829-1907) was born 4 Nov. 1829 in Montclair, Essex Co., New Jersey. He was the son of Samuel Taylor and Lydia Osborn. He married Anstis Elmina Shepard on 31 Aug. 1856 in Haverstraw, Rockland Co., New York; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 22 Sep. 1849. He spoke at the funeral of Thomas Winter, which Wilford Woodruff also attended on 13 Aug. 1882, and he assisted Wilford in administering to Leonard John Nuttall on 25 Oct. 1882. He died 14 Apr. 1907 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
