George Peabody

George Peabody (1795-1869) was born 18 Feb. 1795 in Danvers, Essex Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Thomas Peabody and Judith Dodge. He died 4 Nov. 1869 in London, Middlesex, England. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
