George Romney
George Romney (1831-1920) was born 14 Aug. 1831 in Dalton-in-Furness, Lancashire, England. He was the son of Miles Romney and Elizabeth Gaskell. He married Jane Jamieson about 1849; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized in Sep. 1839. He served with Wilford Woodruff in church positions from about 1870 to 1889. He died 1 Feb. 1920 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
