George Ross
George Ross (1730-1779) was born 10 May 1730 in Newcastle Co., Delaware, British Colonial America. He was the son of George Ross and Catherine Van Gezel. He married Anne Lawler on 17 Aug. 1751. He died 14 Jul. 1779 in Pennsylvania. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
