George Teasdale

George Teasdale (1831-1907) was born 8 Dec. 1831 in St. Pancras, Middlesex, England. He was the son of William R. Teasdale and Harriet Henrietta Tidey. He married Emily Emma Brown on 25 Aug. 1853 in St. Pancras; widowed 10 Jan. 1874. He married Lillias Hook on 14 Oct. 1875 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 8 Aug. 1852. He served alongside Wilford Woodruff in church positions for many years and was called to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on 13 Oct. 1882. He died 9 Jun. 1907 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
