George Walker (1806-aft. 1870) was born 15 Dec. 1806 in Burslem, Staffordshire, England. He married Catherine Burgess before 1832 in Lancashire, England. He was baptized in Jan. 1840. He served in leadership positions with Wilford Woodruff about 1843 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois. He died after 1870 in Lexington, Lafayette Co., Missouri.
