George Woodward
George Woodward (1817-1903) was born 9 Sep. 1817 in Monmouth Co., New Jersey. He was the son of George Woodward and Jemima Shinn. He married Thomazine Downing on 14 Aug. 1842 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 10 Sep. 1840 in Camden, Camden Co., New Jersey. He hosted Wilford Woodruff overnight on 24 Nov. 1839 in Cream Ridge, Upper Freehold, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, while Wilford was traveling, and they served together in church assignments from 1855 to 1883. He died 17 Dec. 1903 in St. George, Washington Co., Utah.
