George Wythe

3 Dec 1726 - 8 Jun 1806

George Wythe (abt. 1726-1806) was born about 1726 in Virginia, British Colonial America. He was the son of Thomas Wythe and Margaret Walker. He married Anne Lewis about 26 Dec. 1747 in Virginia; widowed 8 Aug. 1748. He married Elizabeth Taliaferro. He died 8 Jun. 1806 in Richmond, Virginia. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
