Hampden Sidney Beatie

Hampden (Hamton) Sidney Beatie (1826-1887) was born 31 Dec. 1826 in Glade Spring, Washington Co., Virginia. He was the son of Josiah N. Beattie and Eleanor Rogers White. He married Beulah Augusta Woodruff, a daughter of Wilford Woodruff, on 24 Jun. 1868 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 5 Sep. 1851. He died 11 Sep. 1887 in Salt Lake City.
