Henry Smith Tanner
Henry Smith Tanner (1869-1935) was born 15 Feb. 1869 in Payson, Utah Co., Utah Territory. He was the son of Joseph Smith Tanner and Elizabeth Clark Haws. He married Laura L. Woodland on 5 Mar. 1890 in Logan, Cache Co., Utah Territory; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 5 Apr. 1877. He responded to a mission calls in 1890 and 1894 when Wilford Woodruff was President of the Church. He died 23 May 1935 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
