Hezekiah Ames
Hezekiah Ames (Eames) (1790-1858) was born in Oct. 1790 in Maine. He was the son of Mark Eames and Priscilla Howland. He married Elizabeth Fowler on 5 Mar. 1812 in Vinalhaven, Hancock Co., Maine; widowed 29 Oct. 1825. He married Sarah Scofield on 5 Oct. 1826 in Vinalhaven. He hosted Wilford Woodruff in 1837. He died 4 Dec. 1858 and was buried in North Haven, Waldo Co., Maine.
