Hiram Powers

Hiram Powers (1805-1873) was born 29 Jul. 1805 in Woodstock, Windsor Co., Vermont. He was the son of Stephen Powers. He married Elizabeth Gibson. He died 27 Jun. 1873 in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
